LifeSize Communications, Inc.
Notes
I’ve been a part of the LifeSize website since August 2009 when an old manager of mine brought me on to help out with the technical side. They needed the new website live in October to coincide with a product launch and InfoComm 2009. It was a very busy 3 months of fleshing out the requirements, hiring and working with an agency for the initial development, and migrating the content from the old website.
I then spent most of the next 3 years updating and improving the website without the agency. There was never enough time to do major upgrades though, so eventually we had to stop and do a new ground up redesign.

Notes
In August 2012 we released the new www.lifesize.com. It used the same content management system, Sitecore, but it we installed on new servers, new databases, and with a completely different information architecture. It took our team of 3 and our excellent Sitecore agency, CodeHouse, 6 months of planning and development.
Of course, there’s never enough time to complete all you want before launch, so now we’re attacking all the important stuff we had to put off – SEO improvements, UI tweaks, and automation for editors via workflows. This is where I’m focused currently and will be for the next few months.
